Farmyard Rally North Yorkshire June 2004

Outside Meg's tent. Didn't get much sleep though because of nutters bouncing off the rev limits of their bikes all night, every night.

This is just a small section of the campsite. Miles and miles of tents.

Impressive valley surrounded by wooded hills.

Melissa's Dad on Megs's Dads Katana.

The roadway to the amenities section was long and muddy and quite a few bikes slid over completely. It didn't happen to our Dads though because they know how to ride properly.

Distance to amenities section was solved by 3 to each bike. Dont try this at home! At the front is Melissa with Melissa's Dad in middle and Meg at back sticking her tongue out at everyone she passed.

Amenities Section as muddy as everywhere else but loads to do and lots of space. Why don't they put this section in the middle of the field so people at the far end don't have to walk for miles?

The beer tents were ok on the Friday night but too crowded and noisy on the Saturday night. Pic above was Friday night.

Outside the beer tents is kool as well.

Fires are allowed on the campsite which is great for keeping warm at night. Firewood is highly prized though and if you leave it outside the tent unattended, it'll be nicked. Somebody actually stole our fire while it was still burning.

Meg's Dad wore the same hat that he wears every day at home.

Night-time shopping is brill.

Daytime shopping is brill as well.

The village outside the rally site.

Castle was closed by the time we tried to get in. Maybe they saw us coming.

Village river was good for a laugh.
